The Y in HCLC’s growth path in discovering J-O-Y in the Journey stands for “Yourself through Prayer”.
Here at HCLC we provide opportunities for you to become close to GOD through prayer.
Monthly Prayer Vigils
The first Friday and Saturday of each month, HCLC members hold a prayer vigil. Members sign up for ½ hour prayer slots. You can come into HCLC to pray, you can pray at home, while you exercise or even in the office. Pray for family, friends, those in need, local leaders and community heroes.
Community Events
During the Christmas season, HCLC holds a “Memory Tree of Lights”. Lights can be purchased for a loved one present or past. A candle-lit ceremony is held where we turn the lights on for each of our loved ones along with prayer, Christmas carols, refreshments and fellowship.
During our Isaiah Project where we take meals to about 85 residents living in local motels, we also accept prayer requests. These prayer requests are distributed to our HCLC prayer chain.
A couple times a year, HCLC members meet and greet preschool families usually during open house, where we accept prayer requests. These prayer requests are distributed to our HCLC prayer chain.
